PAY AND CONDITIONS - ANONYMOUS QUESTIONNAIRE

Posted here:  2 September 2002

All MP's offices should have recently received a questionnaire from the Transport and General Workers Union, relating to pay and conditions for staff. You do not have to be a TGWU member to complete the form.  It is being sent to all staff working for MPs, full-time, part-time and voluntary.

If you have not yet already done so, please do take a few moments to complete this questionnaire and return it to the  Angela Molloy, c/o Harry Cohen MP, House of Commons, London SW1A 0AA.   The questionnaires are important as they give the union branch essential information about employees' conditions of work and how these compare.

The questionnaires are anonymous and only take a couple of minutes to complete.

Click here for a copy of the questionnaire.

If you are having problems printing out this pdf version, please contact Angela Molloy, on 020 7219 6376 and ask her to send you a hard copy.

As a result of the high return on our previous survey of pay and conditions for MPs staff, the Union were able to successfully to lobby the appropriate authorities for a ring-fenced pay allowance, centralised computer equipment and an overall increase in staff pay.

Although these improvements were very welcome, there is still more campaigning to be done. Please help us to help you by completing the attached questionnaire on pay, conditions and equal opportunities.

It is completely anonymous -there is no need to put your name, or that of your employer. The survey is being sent to all staff working for MPs, full-time, part-time and voluntary.  It is important to have this information to continue with our campaigning for better terms and conditions -so please return your form as soon as possible. We thank you in advance for your co-operation.
