Political Diary - Your help needed

Last updated: 29 July 2003

Can you help us track down a reliable long-term political diary?  If you can, please use our Feedback Form and just let us have the website addresses.

Your Responses:  so far just two.  Click here to view

We have been asked the following question by an MP's researcher and, so far, haven't been able to locate anything useful:

Would it be possible for the W4MP site to provide (or offer a link to) as comprehensive as possible a diary of forthcoming political events (i.e. Party Conferences, set-piece occasions etc over the next 12 months), with more detail for the 6 weeks ahead and fine detail for the forthcoming week? I'm thinking of something not quite so jazzy but along the lines of the forward planning grids maintained by the BBC political unit and similar groups. Such a resource could be very useful for diary planning - especially as I'm currently trying to programme in a series of events for late Autumn!

The BBC used to maintain one but  it has not been updated for over a year. http://news.bbc.co.uk/hi/english/uk_politics/diary/newsid_224000/224676.stm

There are some subscription sites and here are some examples, but we are looking for free information:

The House of Commons Library doesn't hold anything to match the criteria above so, if you can suggest something we have overlooked, please use our Feedback Form to send us the information.   All help will be acknowledged.

Perhaps you could also comment on whether you personally would find such a resource useful.  Thanks.
