Confused by all those
weird and wonderful parliamentary procedures, practices, rules etc and

Look at the

Office Factsheets. The Factsheets were revised
in 2001 and are now divided into four series: Procedure, Legislation,
Members/Elections and General. All titles are available for downloading in
pdf format. Please note that some titles
have yet to be converted into the new format. These are
produced for public consumption so are available on the www at: http://www.parliament.uk/commons/lib/fact.htm

So, if you want to peep into the Royal Robing Room, are desperate
for Dissolution, are tickled by Test Rolls or demand to know
Who goes home? try this website. While you're at it,
have a look at the Explore Parliament website which can be found at this

or collect a hardcopy from one of the Vote Offices (020 7219
3631).

Vacher
Dod's invaluable reference book: The Handbook of House of
Commons Procedure. Available from Vacher
Dod. The 3rd Edition was written by a Clerk in the Commons and
published in 2002. It
