As recently highlighted by the Library, data for parliamentary constituencies from the 2001 Census are now available via the Office for National Statistics website at: http://www.statistics.gov.uk/census2001/default.asp

There's a mass of information and you need to spend time finding your way around.  Here, for example is a look at their "Neighbourhood Statistics" page which you can visit at: http://neighbourhood.statistics.gov.uk
